There are a variety of medical histories that make a man a candidate for the drugs. Consider these two patients who coped with their ED problems in different ways. Still, I decided that both would get good results from Vasomax.
When Bill, a thirty-six-year-old video store owner, enrolled in the Vasomax study, he thought his sex life as he knew it was over. He complained to me of persistent “unsatisfactory” erections. “Everything was fine,” he related, “until my accident. I’ve been playing pickup basketball games since I was in high school and I’ve had my share of minor injuries, just like everyone else. But then, one Sunday, there was a chain reaction fall and some guy inadvertently kicked me in the scrotum. Ever since then my sexual performance has been extremely unreliable. I’ve lost my finance and I don’t want to lose the ability to have normal sex for the rest of my life.
“One doctor I went to suggested an implant. That’s extreme, since I was having some erections—and besides, I feel I’m much too young for that. And forget about the shots. To me, injections are a dire-emergency fallback position. I tried the natural route, too, everything from a macrobiotic diet to high colonics. Then there was acupuncture. I even tried that plastic vacuum pump. You know what happened with that? I met a really attractive woman at a friend’s wedding and we hit it off. After several dates we thought that it was time for the relationship to progress. I really liked her, you know? So I went into the bathroom and used the pump, and came out with that rubber constriction ring on the base of my penis that helps keep it hard. She took a look and I guess she was kind of shocked. She said, ‘I never thought I’d be doing it with a bionic man.’ And that was the end of that relationship.
“So I’ve been living the private life of a monk. You’re my last resort. Please – my whole life is ahead of me.”
Bill’s ED was physically induced and psychologically intensified; tests confirmed his own diagnosis. He wanted to get help and remained hopeful that his situation could be corrected. The 40 mg dose of Vasomax was the help he was looking for. “I can’t begin to tell you how great this is,” he told me a month later. “I feel like I’m back in the world again, that I’m allowed to be attracted to women and have fulfilling sex, if I want to, when I want to. I knew there would be a cure—I’m just so relieved that it came along in my lifetime.”
